Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

I couldn't think of a title for this blog today, so that's the first thing that came to mind! :) I think I need some sunshine soon before my brain starts to mold in all this rain! Ick! I can barely think! I'm ready for Spring!

Well today we had a lovely lunch with our new friend Andrew of the Mayflower Park Hotel, to be one of the preferred cake vendors for their events, weddings, banquets, and more! How exciting is that? We had a tasty lunch at Andaluca, where my big brother Doug cooks! Here is Doug looking all professional in his chef's gear! We brought Doug and all his friends in the kitchen a dozen yummy cupcakes and they were gone in minutes! Love it!
He even made our lunch for us! Delicious! He sent us home with a tasty chocolate lava cake! Can't wait to dig in! I have to put it in the oven to get it all melty for a mid afternoon snack! Yum! Thanks Doug, I love ya!

And coming up on Thursday this week we have TWO events! All these events lately are keeping us busy busy!

We will be attending the Girl Power Hour from 6-9pm on Thursday night at PNK Ultra Lounge! Its going to be a fantastic pink sparkly girlie girl night! You can get tickets online if you click right HERE. Members get $5 off! We will be joined by Bacardi and Amanda Howse Photography!

We will also be going to the Lord Hill Farms Wedding Event on Thursday as well! It will be an event for Brides to come and see different vendors and get to come and sample our yummy cupcakes!

Don't forget that if you are a bride and you are looking for a cake place, we do complimentary wedding cake tastings in our store! Just give us a call at (425)283-5445 to schedule an appointment! We will load you up on cake and go over all the fun details with you to set up your perfect day!

So keep posted cause we will have a lot of fun pictures coming up from our events! And much thanks to Andrew and Doug today for the fantastic lunch!

Seattle Wedding Show 2011

This past weekend we participated in the Seattle Wedding Show! It was crazy busy and lots of fun! We had thousands of brides and their friends and families passing by and trying our cupcakes! It was a great turn out! We went through over 2500 cupcakes in two days. It was pretty awesome!

This year we went with a bigger booth size and it was beautiful! Lisa and I had been planning our booth for about 2-3 months (I've had plenty of time at home recovering from a broken back to do all the icky paperwork involved!) and it was so worth all the hard work! We had a lot of positive feedback from everyone, and we want to thank everyone who stopped by to say hello!  Alright I'll stop jabbering and get on to the photos!

Don't forget we do complimentary wedding tastings in the store, so call if you want to set up an appointment!
Hope everyone is having a good week!

This is our favorite tier so far! Ivory colored Pure Bliss cupcakes with a 3 level square cake on top! All fresh flowers were provided by my dad at Toppers Floral in Seattle (Its handy having a dad in the flower business!)

How flippin' cute is our booth!?!
Right up in front is the tier of mini cupcakes we were refilling for samples all day!

I made a wall of cakes!

This cake might be my favorite!

The picture below this cake is my grandma and grandpa! How cute are they!?

SAMPLE CUPCAKES!! We had Coconut, Lemon, Little Miss Sunshine, Snicker doodle, Mint, Salted Caramel, Boston Cream, 5th AVE, Cheatin with Chocolate, and Red Velvet! I think we had more flavors available than any other cake place there!

Here are my two partners in crime, Lisa and Lizzie (aka Lizzard)
 Lizzard photo bombing the cupcakes?!

A mini replica of a cake I did for a wedding last summer. Lisa's mother in law provided the broach, so cute!

 Little Miss Sunshine... YUM!
 Boston Cream...
Pure Bliss, and Red velvet... mmm... I'm getting hungry!

Lizzie, I think there might be a cupcake in your teacup!
